What is the ICS Strategy Atlas?

The ICS Strategy Atlas is now live, a new central ICS estates database that supports the development and maintenance of infrastructure strategies. Commissioned by NHS England, the ICS Strategy Atlas is held within SHAPE, the online data mapping and analysis tool that supports services and estates planning, and is free to access for NHS staff.

Use targeting to support neighbourhood planning

You can use SHAPE to understand pockets of population based on a particular population target. By selecting a central point for your neighbourhood, you can create a boundary of the closest 60,000 population and understand the age bands and gender of that population.
