SHAPE Plus - for the private sector

Data mapping and analysis is critical to organisational strategy. But often, data is in disparate sources, making timely, data driven decisions difficult.

SHAPE combines and overlays hundreds of datasets from over 40 sources in an easy-to-use, geospatial mapping system.

With increasing demand in how the platform can be utilised to support data driven decision making, we’re introducing a new subscription service called SHAPE Plus, an interactive mapping and analysis application for the private sector.

SHAPE Plus is an interactive application that supports the private sector with business case development, options appraisals and estates strategy planning. Unlike other data mapping tools, SHAPE is supported by the Department of Health and the chosen repository for NHS estates information.

The application is preloaded with national data sets from over 40 trusted sources, including NHS Digital, ODS, DEFRA, GOV.uk and QOF, providing demographic insight to support clinical and estates planning. The published data is updated either monthly, quarterly or yearly depending on the data source.

There are also lots of tools that can be used to support scenario planning. The flexible geographies and catchment creation functionality enables a comprehensive overview of a locality and its needs.
