Applicants working for commercial companies or organisations not within the UK public sector (NHS, central and local government) need to be sponsored by a senior public sector manager in order to gain access to SHAPE. Please add your sponsor's details.

Access to the SHAPE Place Atlas is free to NHS professionals and Local Authority professionals with a role in Public Health or Social Care. Access to the application is by formal registration and licence agreement.

Latest standards-compliant browsers: Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Safari and Opera. Screen resolutions from 1280x800 pixels.

Bespoke atlas configurations

PHE offer an atlas customisation service. At its most simplest, local user content can be added to the Place Atlas; for more complex requirements a bespoke atlas for a specific organisation or geographical area can be commissioned.
